Reformed International Church Planting
Christians Teaching Christians exists to equip the saints so that Christ’s church is shepherded by men from among their own people who hold fast to the Word of the covenant. Out of that labor the Lord has formed Reformed International Church.
Today the Lord has established:
-
5 churches in Malawi
-
4 churches in Zambia
These congregations are not outposts of a Western mission. They are covenant communities under local elders, bound to the Scriptures as the final rule of faith and life, to the historic Reformed confessions, and to the ordinary means of grace—the preaching of Christ, the sacraments, and prayer. In them the covenant of grace is administered as God has always intended: by Word and sacrament, among a people called out of darkness into His marvelous light.
The same covenantal pattern is now being carried forward. Work is underway toward new churches in Zimbabwe, Nigeria, South Sudan, Pakistan, and India, with the first of those gatherings slated for early 2027. The aim is the same in every place: indigenous pastors, confessional doctrine, and congregations that plant other congregations, so that the promises made to Abraham might run to the nations through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We do not measure the work by how many foreigners we send. We measure it by whether the gospel of the covenant is proclaimed in the language of the people, whether elders are raised from among them, and whether the church can stand and multiply when outside help recedes. That is the vision we ask you to pray for and, as the Lord of the covenant leads, to support
Reformed International Church Seven Affirmations
A covenantal confession of the Triune God, His Word, and His saving work in Christ
We begin where Holy Scripture begins: with God. These seven affirmations set forth what we confess concerning the Triune God, His revelation, man as His image-bearer under covenant, the fall, Christ the Mediator and the gospel, the church and the means of grace, and the last things. They are offered for the teaching, unity, and hope of Christ’s people.
